The Hanging It's the opening night. The Hanging by ~Caffeine-Free-Tacos
I step up onto the stage, grinning at the crowd tonight.
They yell different things that jumble together into a blur.
One member of the audience throws a boquet of black roses
With a golden necklace attatched up onto the stage
I reach down and pick it up.
I put the beautiful necklace on right there on the stage.
the crowd goes wild as it gleams off the ray of light shining through the darkness.
I wave and yell farewell to the cheering crowd.
Then I take my final bow.

Once Upon a Time Once upon a time, there was a big fat monkey who was a little bit slow on the evolution concept. Ideas seemed to come sluggishly to her mind and she wasn't very smart. After a couple of years though she realized that she was in fact a little "different" than her friends who had all grown up into humans. So, she went to school for a little while. But school was bad for her; everyone made fun of the little ape for being so hairy and fat. They taunted her and said she ate babies and sometime they poked her stomach to see if she would make a monkey sound. When she finally got to the point where she had to decide what occupation she would choose,Once Upon a Time by ~Caffeine-Free-Tacos

I'm sorry I didn't do my homework.
I tried. Really.
I had everything ready.
The room.
The mind.
The knife.
I even remembered the assignment
word for word.
"Kill Yourself."
Of course it shouldn't have been
that hard.
But I thought
and always met a wall of flesh
in my way.
So I had to cut and slash
at the wall until I realized
I could never get through my own hand.

through my mind. This crimson, ashen vastness beckons
to my wrist 'come closer'.
Hidden by false implications to some calamity,
These scars remain my own in solidarity.
Ungracefully plunging toward castigation I await
the draining of my decanter by acquaintance.
Maps of anguish draw shadows to the arms
of this empty shell of human flesh. Hardened, I turn
away from the light which scalds my rotting insides.
Beating, still, my heart repents the undone sin as it revisits
The beginning. Far past birth, arisen from the sinister voids
comes the child of darkness, transfixing me.

Fallen Like a butterfly with two symmetrical broken wings,Fallen by ~Caffeine-Free-Tacos
I can feel myself falling quickly back to the earth,
Back towards the fires of hell that briefly scorch my arms
Before I plunge into a pit of knives and broken glass… the glass that I broke.
These dig into my arms, my leg, my stomach, impaling me
I don't mind the blood so much, in fact it tastes quite good
And the pain, the pain doesn't hurt so much with the numbness
And I continue to fall, to fall to the ebony blackness
Like a butterfly with two symmetrical broken wings

Starlight above my home town, 'aint as bright as the star I found.
Every drawing that I drew was never ever cute as you.
